The collaboration has spawned the creation of a must have Loopwheeler cotton zip-up hoodie, the hood comes with a small embroidered logo on the chest, the Kaws X Eyes on the cuffs and a nice little leather detail on the zipper.

The Hundreds Deagle T-shirt

The Hundreds always seem to get their inspiration from the most unlikely places and this season is no exception. From the 1988 film 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' (has it really been that long?), which stared Bob Hoskins as the 'film noir detective' with a plucky cartoon rabbit client/sidekick (who gets the girl by the way), the film blew up 22 years ago and The Hundreds have reminisced by dropping the Deagle t-shirt with the cartoon Desert Eagle gun from the film on the front. The tee also features the Bomb logo on the back for the younger audience who don't get the pop culture reference.

Preview: The Lost Art of Inglourious Basterds

Preview Screening: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

On Sunday the 28th of February at 2:30pm, the Curzon Mayfair Cinema will be hosting a Special Advanced Preview Screening of director Niels Arden Oplev's hit Swedish thriller The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, based on the award winning novel by Stieg Larsson which is the first in his 'Millennium' Trilogy.
The film focuses on a disgraced journalist and a troubled young female hacker who become involved in the investigation of the disappearance of an industrialist's niece on a remote island 40 years ago. During their investigation they uncover religious killings, Nazism, child abuse, rape and murder.

The second and third books in Larsson's Trilogy entitled 'The Girl Who Played With Fire' and 'The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest' respectively, have already been filmed, and if 'Tattoo' proves to be successful will more than likely be picked up by the films US distributor Music Box Films and possibly be released theatrically as early as next year in the United States. Tickets for the Preview Screening are on sale now at the Curzon Mayfair Box Office. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is on general release in the UK from Friday March 12th.

Breaking News: Fashion designer McQueen found dead

Beloved British fashion designer Alexander McQueen has been found dead after apparently committing suicide at his home. The 40-year-old was discovered at his property in Green Street, in London's West End, shortly after 10am on Thursday 11th Feb.
A spokeswoman for Mr McQueen said: "Mr McQueen was found dead this morning at his home. We're devastated and I hope you understand that out of respect to his family and his colleagues we're not going to be making any further statement."

The Jordan brand has had some of the most entertaining commercials over the years, with 2010 being no exception. Jordan Brand is going digital in the first viral video commercial channel to promote the brand, AJ2010's and the brands new face NBA superstar Dwayne Wade.
The new Jumpman 23 YouTube channel has to be one of the most entertaining web-spots since the Dark Knight viral sites. the channel page is a pretty good represntation of style and class that Air Jordans bring to the court with the intense and ground/screen-shaking opening video. Paris Fashion week saw many interesting trends, but the one that caught our eye was one that appealed to our sartorial nature- tailoring that used the classic Savile Row silhouette. The classic design follows the clean cut lines and V-symmetrical tailoring of a British military officer,

tailoring techniques from the early 1900's to today modern officr that are apparent in both formal and casual wear in bespoke tailoring houses up and down Savile Row, including Kilgour and Richard James. This has given a normally eccentric haute couture Paris Fashion Week a sharp, masculine and wearable atmosphere that could only have have been provided by the great British institution.

Event: Nike SB x FLUFF Magazine- Book, Sneaker and exhibition at Nike 1948 Shoreditch

Nike SB is proud to anounce the release of a 600 page, bible-size book that features nearly every SB rider in Europe. the book has been put together by Dutch publisher, Fluff magazine- who were given full full creative control to come up with their interpretation of the SB country teams in Europe. Photographer Marcel Veldman visited 19 European countries to capture the riders both on and off their boards. The final result is 600 pages of amazing content featuring over 100 riders.

To celebrate this release Nike has collaborated on the creation of a Bruin SB and will be showcasing the momentous occasion with an exhibition at the Nike 1948 store in Shoreditch, which will mark their return after a Winter break. The shoes and book go on sale Saturday 30th of January at 10.30am. We recommend that you arrive VERY early as the shoes and book are only available in limited numbers. If you can't drag yourself out of bed that early, the exhibition will be running until the 14th of Feb and will be a must for skaters and photography fans alike.

Damian Marley and Nasir Jones - Strong Will Continue

The new track The Strong Will Continue is rumoured to be the first single from the upcoming collaborative album Distant Relatives by Damian Marley and Nasir Jones. The albums themes will reportedly revolve heavily around Africa, from ancestory to poverty and will offer both artists social commentary on the United States and Africa. Both Damian and Nas have stated that proceeds from the album will go towards a project in Africa, possibly building a school in the Congo. Distant Relatives is due to be released on April 20th.

Preview Screening: A Single Man/Q&A with Tom Ford

On Thursday the 4th of February at 6:10pm, The Curzon Cinema at Mayfair will be hosting a special preview screening of fashion guru Tom Ford's new feature film A Single Man with a special Q&A presentation with the man himself directly following the screening. The film stars Colin Firth, Julianne Moore and Matthew Goode and marks Ford's directorial debut.
Set in the 1960's, A Single Man follows the story of Californian gay college professor George (Firth), who after learning his Lover Jim (Goode) has died in a car crash is overcome with grief and becomes suicidal. However, after he spends a night with lovelorn friend Charley (Moore) and gains the attention of a young man (Nicholas Hoult) George's perspective on life soon starts to change.

Cinema Release: A Prophet

Released in cinemas this week is director Jacques Audiard's hard hitting prison drama A Prophet. The film has received high praise among critics and has been nominated for
2 awards at the 2010 BAFTA ceremony including one for newcomer Tahar Rahim in The Orange Rising Star category. The film follows the story of Malik El Djebena (Tahir Rahim), a 19 year old man who has been sentenced to 6 years in prison for an unspecified crime. During his sentence Malik is chosen by Cesar Luciani who is the prison Kingpin and leader of the feared Corsican gang to murder a fellow inmate. After Malik has commited the crime he soon finds himself climbing the criminal ranks within the prison and becoming a big time player in the process. A Prophet is released Friday January 22nd.

The nominations for the 2010 BAFTA awards have been announced and leading the pack with 8 nominations each are James Cameron's Avatar, Kathryn Bigelow's The Hurt Locker and Lone Scherfig's An Education.

The Dunk Hi 'Oceanic Airlines' features an all suede upper in German Blue, Chorine Blue and White, with lipstick red and white laces- which make up the colours for the Oceanic Airlines logo. Also as a added treat- the footbeds feature a map print in separate colourway's for each foot (red and blue).

The Blazer Hi 'Dharma Initiative' features linen coloured canvas with white canvas swoosh and heel tab and finished off with the Nike SB signature linen colour 'Mesh' tongue. Although they sound very similar to the capsule HUF Blazers, but the ultimate lost design nod sets them apart- the word “Shoe’ is embroidered on the heel tab of each shoe, and is screen printed on the insoles, this is paying homage to LOST and the labeled Dharma Initiative supplies found on the island.

The LOST pack is also ‘Considered Design’ which means that the shoes were designed, and the materials were picked with the environment in mind.

Nike SB Spring 2010 Release: Dunk Hi, Dunk Mid, P-Rod 2.5

The latest drop from Nike SB brings us new colourways for the Dunk Hi and Dunk Mid, along with the much anticipated release of the new P-Rod 2.5.
The Dunk Hi come all suede in all medium grey upper with red suede swoosh, blue laces and finishes off with red mi-sole and blue sole. The Dunk Mid is featured in black, sail and varsity red colourway, with a mixture of leather, suede and nylon mesh making up the material construction.

For the main event- The Paul Rodriguez 2.5 has taken the original and leaned out with the aid of Nike Zoom technology and a vulcanized Sole. The first colourway for the release will be a black on white skater, which features mesh side panels and a black leather swoosh.
Look for this release to drop over the coming weeks at Nike SB accounts across Europe, with a possible Friday 22nd release in London.

UNDFTD x Adidas Consortium Rod Laver OG

The Rod Laver range had a busy 2009 with the release of the F/W OG series, this time the re-interpreted iconic shoes is back for early 2010 due to a collaborative effort between Adidas Consortium and LA heavy hitters Undefeated.

This is one of the first collaborations of the year, and it doesn't disappoint.

the shoe features a rich royal blue suede upper, which is perfectly contrasted with caramel Italian leather on the ankle tab, heel stripe and to keep continuity- the interior of the shoe that has added a lux vibe to these understated colabs. to finish off with the UNDFTD five-bar logo and the Trefoil both embossed on the tongue.

The U.S release date is tomorrow (21-01-2010), available at Consortium retailers, all UDFTD chapters and @UNDFTD webstore (international shipping available). Look to Adidas Consortium London in the upcoming weeks for a possible drop. But be quick because this collaboration won't stay on the shelves for long!

UNDFTD X Nike U-Man Puppet T-shirt

Not exactly hot off the presses, but defiantly newsworthy- LA based sports brand Undefeated carries on the strong collaboration movement with Nike and the MVPuppets. The fantasy of Lebron and Kobe sharing a apartment together is a cross between 'friends' and 'the cosby show', with the boys getting into puppet mischief every week (most weeks).

Undefeated has given the ultimate nod to the ad-series with the production of two graphic tee's, and the boys get one each of their very own. The tee's are already available via UDFTD (in exclusive colourways), but the newsworthy part is that the tee's should be dropping in London for the reopening of Nike 1948 Shorditch.

Flashback: Original Fake x Wonderwall feat. KAWS

Just caught the Wonderwall x KAWS Vinyl figures (picture after the jump), which will be dropping next month. Its one of the colabs that has stood the test of time, which first popped up in 2008: Original Fake x Wanderwall t-shirt. The t-shirt featured a KAWS character on the front, Wonderwall and Original Fake logos on the back, and the Kaws cross eyes embroidery on the sleeve. this was a t-shirt collaboration for the ages (this has got me thinking about Original Fake x Bape- GOOD TIMES!) But i guess for 2010 we just have to settle for a kick-ass vinyl figure.

The figure drops next month in two colourways: Grey and Brick Red, and measures in at 22cm high. Look to Colette for the drop, and stay tuned for news on a possible London drop.

Preview: Reebok x Emporio Armani EA7 Capsule Collection

Following on from a strong end of year, Reebok has teamed up with Emporio Armani's sports division EA7. The collaboration is inspired by the 'alter ego' concept of sports and high fashion, fusing together luxury materials with cutting-edge rebook technology to provide form and function to style.

The main colourways for the collection will be a mixture of black, misty grey and white, which is punctuated with fashion tones such as fluorite yellow. with only a few images to go from, judgment has to be reserved until we can see the full collection, but some of the pieces are reminiscent of the early Puma 96 Hour footwear collection.With the apparel; running is the main theme so we should be looking out for running tanks and dri-fit style running pants with a "H2O" jacket to finish of the collection.

As a part of the Jordan brand 25th anniversary, Nike have released a modern interpretation of the shoe that started it all and put the basketball-shoe industry ton a whole new flight path- the Jordan I. The shoe is 22% lighter than the original and boasts key features such as Phylon midsoles, Zoom Air units, padded ankle lining and a perforated toe-box and center panel. The shoe drops in black/varsity red and white, and have already been spotted on the feet of some NBA ballers.

The Shoes will be available at Nike Town, House of Hoops and other Jordan retail accounts.

Nike SB Dunk Low "Chirping Bird"

we first heard about this release late last year of an upcoming Nike Dunk Low Pro SB in the Black/Varsity Red colourway, dubbed the “Chirping Bird”. The upper features black denim, and a material that is a rarity for Nike SB- Black patent leather swoosh (last seen on the 'Italian collection'), and a white mid-sole finishing off with a varsity red sole. The dunk also features a fur lined interior to add to the avian theme. But what really takes the cake with this release is...
that with a pinch of the tongue will produce a sound of a chirping bird. With Sample release reaching premiums of over $500 online over Christmas, these dunks are a must have for people on the scene!

With no solid release date for these sneakers, we will try to scoop one for the UK release.

After much delay, Lil Wayne makes his triumphant return to the music industry this February with the release of his new album Rebirth. The new album which was originally scheduled for release April of last year, also features artists such as Eminem, Dre and Kevin Rudolf.
