Everyones favorite Japanese Fashion Label KAWS' OriginalFake has started dropping its Spring/Summer 2010 collection. The success of the brand has come from its ability to appeal to a wide audience, which is rooted from the acceptance KAWS artwork to both street art and fine art circles.
Original Fake even gives younger fans a chance to own something with the KAW’s stamp on it before they can enter the fine art market, which is transfered in micro form to t-shirts with obvious art work prints.
For this season expect to see OriginalFake stamping on classic apparel pieces, the check button-down, board shorts, belts and fisherman hats get the 'chomped' treatment and T-shirts and totes get the KAWS treatment,with colourways a aplenty. Original Fake, this season has designed something for everyone without the mild eccentricities we have seen most seasons, but seems to match the ethos that men should dress not to be noticed but rather to be respected.
